ACTrade 1.7.0.10 Released!

Posted by Lionclaw - 02-19-2005 @ 07:25 PM

I know, I've been scarce lately. But I managed to put together a new release!

AC Trade 1.7.0.10 is a bug release with the following fixes:
-AdvancedItemInfo Error Fixed
-Web Interface Problem Fixed

As usual, be sure to remove 1.7.0.9 before installing 1.7.0.10!

Please drop me an e-mail if you have any problems with this release!

AC Trade Plugin/Site Linkup Restored

Posted by dsanai - 12-22-2004 @ 05:19 PM

The issue that was preventing bots from logging in and using the web interface connection has been resolved. You should now have no trouble managing your bot remotely.

AC Trade Donations

Posted by Lionclaw - 11-30-2004 @ 10:22 PM

I would also like to express my extreme gratitude to those who have donated money to the project in the past. Donations have helped cover costs that would otherwise be left to myself and GuildSolutions.com, our web host.

Currently the site uses a great deal of bandwidth and cpu time on our host's server. Donations are always appreciated, even $1!

ACTrade Update

Posted by Lionclaw - 11-30-2004 @ 10:20 PM

Hi all. Thanks to Solace over at GuildSolutions the database is back online. It's been a while since ya'll have heard from me. I've been MIA with RL issues the last few months. I know AC Trade is in desperate need of some updating. If there's anyone out there with prior AC/Decal/VB experience interested in picking up the project, please let me know.

Advanced Inventory Uploading Fix

If you're having problems with advanced info uploading, it may be due to alpha impfilter. Check out the thread posted by Uber rain man.

Off I Go...

Posted by Lionclaw - 07-21-2004 @ 12:30 AM

So, the moment I've been dreading for the last 2 years has finally arrived. AFROTC Field Training! I'll be at Tyndall AFB in Florida from 7/22 until 8/20. I will be completely out of touch during this time. I've given both Eagleclaw and Agarne the ability to post news articles on the main page, just in case there is any news that is in need of being widely dispensed. (MyACTrade>Administrate).

I fully intended to have the 1.8 release of AC Trade out long before I left, but it just hasn't happened. I think when I finally get it out those of you who have been so patiently waiting will be pleased.

I'm Still Alive!

Yes, I've been bad. No updates for a while. I try to hit the forums as often as possible, but sometimes everything builds up on me and it seems I don't have time for everything. Some of you are helping others out on the forums, and I really appreciate it. I love seeing people work together to solve problems and find answers.

There is one question i've been seeing on the forums a lot lately. It is about the OVERFLOW error. I believe this is due to some sort of problem or incompatibility with the beta version of ImpFilter. I would suggest that you DO NOT USE THE BETA VERSION OF IMPFILTER IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM. If reverting to the non-beta version of ImpFilter(verify in your Decal filters list) does not fix this problem, please drop me an e-mail.

Also, it's time for our poll to get updated. If anyone has an idea for a good poll question feel free to send me an e-mail :)

Upcoming AC Trade Changes

Posted by Lionclaw - 03-31-2004 @ 02:47 PM

First I'd like to start off by apologizing for my lack of presence the last few days on the forums. I just finished off my latest batch of midterms. Next week I'll finally be on spring break :)

Due to the upcoming changes with regard to the marketplace as mentioned in the April LttP, the next version will include code that will prevent AC Trade from being used in the main room or the hallways of the marketplace. This will hopefully save the Envoys some trouble. I know a large number of you guys are against this change, but it's here, and it's beyond my control at this point. As the LttP states, anyone running an unattended service(any kind of bot) in the main room will be moved to an empty room. In essence, your bot will just be teleported somewhere, and you'll lose any chance of getting any business until you move your character back.

I'm going to do my best to get an updated version out by the end of next week. The 2 big additions you will also see is the completion of the weblog system and a better default pricing system, which will offer the ability to auto-price salvage!

I'm open for input, ideas, suggestions, concerns on any of these additions. Your best bet right now is to send me an e-mail, post on the forums, or both. Happy trading!

BE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR ACTRADE LINKS!

We're completely moved over to http://www.actradeonline.com now. Be sure to update your shortcuts and signatures that may contain links to the comptonsoft site. There's no guarantee that the comptonsoft.com site will remain up, or recieve updates.

February Patch Info - AC Trade is working!

Posted by Lionclaw - 02-26-2004 @ 02:30 PM

I just went through a round of testing with my bot and it seems to be working great. If you haven't done so lately, I'd suggest updating Decal again.

The changes made to the trade window seem to have absolutely no affect on the operation of the bot. Please let me know if you encounter any problems relating to changes made in this month's update.

Server Swap in Progress

Posted by Lionclaw - 02-14-2004 @ 08:32 PM

The DNS swap for our server is underway. We're just waiting for the DNS change to be fully propagated. If you see a difference between here and here, then you're definately accessing the new server. If you don't see a difference, then either the domain change has been fully propagated, or you're still on the old server. I'm guessing the change should be complete for everyone by the end of the weekend at the latest.

CrashHelper 1.0.1 Posted

Posted by Lionclaw - 02-14-2004 @ 01:00 PM

I increased the timers to ensure it actually makes it in-game before trying to login or start the plugin. Source is posted, so feel free to do what you'd like with it if you have a VB compiler. If you choose to redistribute it, please identify me as the author.

ACTrade 1.7.0.9 Beta and CrashHelper 1.0.0 Released

Posted by Lionclaw - 02-14-2004 @ 03:38 AM

This is just a small release with several fixes.
-Fixed 2 bugs with Fixed Trades(no more overflows, no more "not enough" messages)
-Accounting data now loads much faster!

I've also posted a small utility I wrote called CrashHelper in the download section. VB source code is provided. The program will reload the bot after a crash. Be sure to start CrashHelper after you launch AC. I would suggest testing it at least once, by alt-f4'ing your client, before you let it run unattended. It should work with windowed mode, but I haven't actually tested it with windowed mode. Drop me an e-mail if you have any problems.
